1938 Archer CabrioletThe Archer is a 1930's era styling, Very Limited production with a Cost Over $65,000 new. Built in the 80's for Vintage Car Connoisseurs & Millionaire's from the southern American States. A unique Duisenberg,Packard styling,Very Rare Car. (manufactured kit car produced by Archer Coach Works in Wheeler, Indiana). It has a fiberglass body wrapped around a refurbished late 1980's Fiat Spider. The chassis is a custom build to suit the body & drive train. The exterior body panels on the Archer are all fiberglass, i.e., fenders and running boards, hood, cowl, doors, quarter panels, deck lid, etc. The frame and chassis are custom built to suit the body & drive train. The suspension and drive train is all late 70's full sized Ford with a GM 350cu engine and 3 speed automatic transmission. The exhaust is stock off the manifold which feeds into dual pipes down to dual mufflers & tailpipes. The finish on this vehicle is the original finish which was built in the mid 80's. A pearl / blue / white finish. The front & rear bumper, grille assembly, headlight rings, signal lights, driving lights and tail light bezels are all part of the 30's era. It has also a luggage rack as part of the vintage accessory on the rear deck lid. The interior front buckets & rear seats are a light tan leather look material w/matching colour carpet. The convertible top and boot for the top are in a tan finish. The brakes are power assist front disc and rear drum brakes. The Archer has fifteen inch wire chrome wheels, the tires 235 75R15 steel belted radial with a very large white wall with an additional tire on each fender skirt. Before & After pictures removing drive train. Completely stripping the underside then refinishing it in a black under body sealer. Stripping down the engine prep, paint, assemble & reinstall engine.
